branch of Te Ropu Wahine Maori Toko I te Ora Maori Women s Welfare League Inc.
The Maori Women s Welfare League are a Maori non profit organization working
within the communities to support and help with a Maori approach.
As a branch of our National office, Te Puna Wai O Kapiti promote Maori well-being, Maori living, life long education, training, and Employment. Te Puna Wai o Kapiti Maori Women s Welfare League do this by holding fund-raising, entertainment, information events and support with other partners within the community.
We are made up of Members of the community, Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters and Cousins who all come from all over New Zealand and live in the Kapiti Area, mostly in Paraparaumu. You don't need to be Maori to join or a female either, just the understanding that we work with Kaupapa Maori to better our community.
